UWA Receives Prestigious Grant for Teacher Preparation Program

The University of West Alabama (UWA) has been recognized as one of just 43 teacher residencies to receive the 2025-2026 Boundless Educators Initiative grant. This significant funding is aimed at enhancing the recruitment, preparation, and retention of future educators within local communities. The Boundless Educators Initiative is designed to support innovative programs that cultivate a diverse and effective teaching workforce, addressing the critical need for skilled educators in various regions.
