Seventeen students have been invited to join the NC State College of Education’s inaugural Advocacy in Action Policy Fellowship. This innovative program aims to empower future educators by providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to influence educational policy and advocate for systemic change.
Participants in the fellowship will engage in a range of activities designed to deepen their understanding of the legislative process and the importance of advocacy in education. The program will include workshops, mentorship opportunities, and hands-on experiences that will enable students to apply their learning in real-world contexts.
By participating in this fellowship, students will not only enhance their professional development but also contribute to meaningful discussions about educational reform. The College of Education is committed to fostering a new generation of leaders who are equipped to address the challenges facing the education system today.
