OhioRISE Hosts Educational Summit to Address Trauma in Students

STEUBENVILLE — A diverse group of educators and service providers convened on August 5 and August 7 for educational summits organized by OhioRISE in Stark and Harrison Counties. The primary focus of these gatherings was to delve into the profound effects of trauma on students and to discuss effective strategies for addressing their unique needs.
Participants engaged in meaningful discussions about the challenges faced by students who have experienced trauma, emphasizing the importance of creating supportive learning environments. Experts shared insights on various tools and resources available to educators, aimed at fostering resilience and promoting mental well-being among affected students.
