Franklin Education Foundation Benefits from Specialty License Plate Sales

The Franklin Education Foundation has been awarded over $1,450 from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, thanks to the sales of specialty university license plates purchased by residents of Franklin County. This funding comes as a result of last year’s sales and was distributed this fall. Notable contributions include $624.68 from the University of Georgia, $64 from Auburn University, and $157.50 from the University of Alabama, among others.

These proceeds play a vital role in supporting educational initiatives within the community, allowing the foundation to enhance programs and resources for local students. The specialty tags not only serve as a means of personal expression for alumni and supporters but also generate essential funding for educational projects. The Franklin Education Foundation encourages residents to continue purchasing these specialty plates to further support local education and foster academic growth in the region.
