The Franklin Education Foundation has been awarded over $1,450 from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, thanks to the sales of specialty university license plates purchased by residents of Franklin County. This funding comes as a result of last year’s sales and was distributed this fall. Notable contributions include $624.68 from the University of Georgia, $64 from Auburn University, and $157.50 from the University of Alabama, among others.
These proceeds play a vital role in supporting educational initiatives within the community, allowing the foundation to enhance programs and resources for local students.
