Bridging the Knowledge Gap on the Space Force

Less than 10% of Americans are aware of the existence of the Space Force, highlighting a significant awareness and education gap regarding this newest branch of the U.S. military. To address this issue, the Space Force Association, based in Colorado Springs, is actively establishing chapters across the nation. These chapters aim to host events designed to inform school children, lawmakers, and the general public about the Space Force and its critical mission.

Retired Colonel Bill Woolf, CEO of the association, emphasized the importance of outreach and education in fostering a better understanding of the Space Force's role in national security and space operations. By engaging with various communities, the association hopes to demystify the Space Force and highlight its contributions to technological advancements and defense strategies. Through these initiatives, the Space Force Association is committed to ensuring that more Americans recognize and appreciate the significance of the Space Force in today’s rapidly evolving landscape.
